First transnational meeting

Our first meeting was held in in Spain from the 27th to 29th of september 2021.

After the official Welcome at the school we dealt with the current situation of the schools. We discussed about the activities successfully completed last year and started planning the activities for the next year to be carried out. Coronavirus made it really hard to complete all activities planned in the project so we were working a lot on designing alternative (maybe virtual) mobilities if the pandamic situation gets worse. After a year of online meetings and cooperation, we really wanted to start offline team building so we visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city of La Laguna.

Students were also involved in the activities. They guided us in the school, we could have the chance to visit some lessons and they also made a presentation on their country and its natural beauties. After this program, we made a trip to the Teide National Park in a guided tour. It was unforgettable. The organisers also focused on staying green even during our picnic in the forest. We also had the chance to visit Puerto de La Cruz. It was amazing.

Since our project focuses on protecting our environment, we visited Anage which is a special environmental area of the region. Before and after programs, we were talking about the future of the project, the upcoming meetings and tasks for the ECO-clubs. In the final meeting we were discussing about dissemination strategies and all partners could share their ideas in the project planning.
